  • Document Note: Приведён любопытный способ равномерного распределения количества выступлений между участниками совещания.
  • Summary: Meetings can be dominated by a few loud voices, making it hard for others to share their ideas. A simple solution is to use sticky notes to limit how often each person can speak, encouraging everyone to participate. Another technique is interruption bingo, which helps identify who interrupts the most and can improve group dynamics.

Highlights

  • You can combat this by giving everyone three sticky notes at the start of the meeting (or coins, or paperclips—anything inedible will do). Every time someone speaks, they have to give up one sticky note. When they’re out of stickies, they aren’t allowed to speak until everyone has used at least one, at which point everyone gets all of their sticky notes back. This ensures that nobody talks more than three times as often as the quietest person in the room, which completely changes group dynamics. People who have given up trying to be heard suddenly have space to contribute, while the overly-frequent speakers realize how talkative they have been. (View Highlight)
    • Note: Интересный способ. Как его реализовать при онлайн-собраниях?
